An Extreme Case of Female Attention Seeking

As I have become older, I began realizing that women do incredible things for male attention. Tattoos are an obvious example. Since all women put on make-up and dress nicely, a young attention-hungry woman needs to up her game, so she may get inked. Or she gets hair extensions, a new nose, a boob job, or collagen in her lips. All that is not difficult to grasp. However, I quite recently made a possibly startling realization about an encounter I had many years ago.

I was "hanging out" with a young and very attractive female student, and one fine day she told me that she makes some cash on the side as a webcam girl. The context was quite bizarre to begin with, because when I first undressed her, she asked me whether I recognized her. This sounded plain weird to me, but when you're about to get it on, you are not going to attempt entering a discussion that may only lead to you not getting laid. Talking too much in those situations is also bad because you may end up not wanting to fuck her anymore because she says some complete bullcrap that turns you off.

Female Attention Seeking Behavior vs Suitability for a Relationship

In the current Open Thread, I was asked the following:
Hey Aaron, this is possibly a stupid question, but I wanted to ask. What are your thoughts on women with tattoos being relationship material?
Several guys, at least in America, think that women with ink are automatically out of the running for anything long-term, or say that if she only has a couple that are small or trendy, it's fine. I'm usually quite fond of girls with tattoos (as long as they're well done), but I don't have as much experience as you do, so I thought I'd get your perspective.
Do you think tattooed women are unfit to marry or keep as a longterm girlfriend?
Tattoos itself are not necessarily the issue. Instead, ask yourself why women get tattoos, and you will have your answer. In short, women get tattoos in order to send a particular message to their environment. In that regard, it does not really matter how many tattoos she has or how big they are. In fact, I am tempted to say that a middle-class woman with a small "trendy" tattoo located where only her sexual partners can see it is easily as bad as some low-class woman with a tattoo covering most of her body.

The Open Thread: August 2016

Since I get a relatively high number of comments that are tangential to the articles, I'd like to try to move those parts of the conversation to the monthly 'Open Thread'.
In short, if you think anything you're going to write is "off topic" to the current post, but still related to pickup, women, gender politics and other topics I discuss on this blog, then please leave a comment to the most recent Open Thread, such like this one. Just post below.

Thank you.

Dissecting more bullshit advice from Wall St. Playboys commenters

As a follow-up on my last post, This is why some guys get nowhere, I am going to spend some more time discussing bullshit online. It's about "money making" advice, and you may very well ask why you should bother. However, there are a few good lessons to be learnt, and if not that, then there is hopefully some entertainment value in it.

But before we start, let's ponder the question how you can tell that someone online is full of shit. It's not that difficult as long as you have some knowledge and experience to draw from, and aren't allergic to basic arithmetic. The absolute worst are people who know nothing, form strong opinions, and feel compelled to spread their nonsense all over the internet. I'm sure you can think of an example or two. One only hopes that those people are merely scammers, instead of morons, who take advantage of the plethora of idiots online.

Without further ado, here is another brain-dead comment taken from the post Money Changes Your Life over at Wall Street Playboys. (I think this comment is a parody, but bear with me for a moment.) Here it is:

Response to a Concern Troll: Alpha Status vs Socio Economic Status

When I was busy pummeling the PUA industry, trolls and shills were adorably cute. Their comments consisted of one-liners, personal attacks, or exaggerated praise of their master. Of course, their contributions often were in poor English, which indicated outsourcing to some guy in the Third World via sites like ODesk. Bullshit like that was annoying because it meant clicking "spam" over and over. For some time there was an RSD shill who commented "what the fuck is this shit" on several of my posts, which made me chuckle as it was precisely the kind of fake "alpha" posturing a guy like RSD's Jeffy promotes. The more eloquent trolls and shills I addressed in the comment section, which led to some hilarious exchanges.

Now that I occasionally tackle some topics that are more serious than making fun of PUAs who don't get laid, I seem to attract a much different kind of troll. A shining example is "Peter" who claims that Muslims are more "alpha" than German men and thus get all ze German women. His comment originally appeared on my brief post on the main cast of the TV show Entourage.

Random thought: Are Vinnie and his boys from Entourage betas?

After some potentially depressing posts on Muslim terrorism in Germany, it's time for something more light-hearted. I recently began re-watching Entourage. When I first watched it, I liked it because it was one of the very few TV shows where guys are not depicted as complete idiots. Even Johnny Drama who is depicted as quite an idiot is more resourceful than the typical emasculated male in contemporary TV. This show is often mentioned in the "community" because it is allegedly focused on pickup, which is not true at all. Vinnie gets laid because he is a Hollywood A-lister, chicks throw himself a him. His friends get laid because of him.  There is not much of value in this show if you think you would "learn" something with regards to interactions with women. Entourage provides you with plenty of examples of what not to do, though.

The Religion of Peace, Islam, culturally enriches Germany four times in one week --- this is what the politicians say

I thought that having three Muslims in one week go haywire in Germany was bad enough. Little did I know that while I was writing my article In case you consider moving to Germany yet another Muslim demonstrated that Islam is the religion of peace, and blew himself up. He killed himself and injured 15. Germany is indeed progressing. This was the first suicide bombing in Germany ever, and the fourth Muslim terrorist attack in Germany in one week, which is another record. I wonder what the next 'firsts' of our Muslim friends will be. I sense an enormous untapped potential.

In case you consider moving to Germany

Last year a guy from Eastern Europe emailed me, asking whether I think moving to Germany was a good idea. Long story short, the wrote he was an electrical engineer, two degrees, some job experience, and even knew some German. My short answer was a "no, most certainly not". Note that this was before those utterly brain-dead decisions regarding unrestrained mass immigration were made by the German political elite in 2015. These days, the answer would be more along the lines of "Are you fucking crazy?"

Let's paint in broad strokes: I think coming to Germany is only an attractive proposition if you lack any perspective back home, lack education and ambition, and want to live a life at subsistence level paid by the German taxpayer, possibly supplemented by some income from dealing drugs. In Berlin, politicians don't even bat an eye shelling out a few million Euros so that illegal immigrants can squat buildings. If your ambitions are that low, you would be in fantastic company because there are millions of you around already. The vast majority of the left likewise lives off handouts, so in that case, you really are all the same. Germany is going down the toilet faster than Sweden, but it will probably be another 20 to 30 years until it has reached shit hole levels.

A female commenter disagrees that men age slower than women

This is a brief post for a nice chuckle. Moments ago, an allegedly female anonymous commenter left the following on my 2013 post Why should it be "creepy" if an older guy takes a young woman?

As a woman in her early 20s I can honestly say that it is definitely much more creepy and gross when an older guys tries to hit on me. Younger guys are generally fitter and I can relate to them more. When I see older guys trying to go after younger women my first thought is "player." Also I disagree that men age slower... I know several women who are several years OLDER than their partner and before I found out their age, I thought all of the women were actually younger than their partners. I guess its all a matter of experience and personal opinion, but I think when women say they like "older men" they usually mean just a few years older, not 15+ years older.

Let's make this brief:

This is why some guys get nowhere

There are very few blogs I follow, but there are a few I skim occasionally. In the latter category is a blog called Wall Street Playboys. Some of the posts made my bullshit sensor overheat, though, due to the frequently displayed naivety and some rather obvious contradictions. For instance, according to their online personae they are "ballers" and can afford to spend half the year abroad. On the other hand, they warn people that living it up in some South American cities can be expensive, which is why you should "pre-game", i.e. drink at your place. Baller enough to maintain two residences, but when it comes to drinks you suddenly need to watch where your benjamins go? But let's ignore that for now.

More interesting than some of their articles are the comments they are getting, albeit it is not always easy to tell whether people post some nonsense in an attempt to bust the balls of the Wall St. Playboys, or whether they are serious. Here is one example that is very relevant to pickup (side note: there is quite some overlap between the mindset needed to become financially stable and having a decent sex life, but that may be a topic for another day).
